I got the idea for tonight's blog from Camera Club on Monday, the theme was colours and there was a lovely picture that caught my eye of colourful reflections in a shiny fork and spoon. I really liked it, but the judge wasn't too keen on the composition I think. Anyway, it gave me an idea to try at home using a cut glass paper weight and my colourful ironing board cover. I've struggled to find a crop that I like as I had to rest the paperweight on an upside down glass to get the reflections of the colours in it and the glass was quite obvious. Mind you looking at my pile of ironing I think I should start using my ironing board for it's proper use and not photography!
