Been practising with my close-up filter again today (and the trusty tripod, amazing what a difference it makes). These seed heads of the ivy on our fence are a lovely shape so i thought I would try and get a picture of some.

I've messed about with the saturation to make the colours abit more vivid.

Learned something useful, my close-up filter just fits onto my uv filter (good for protecting your lens), when I think of the times I have taken the uv filter off first with freezing fingers trying desparately not to drop something!!! Doh.
