Monday, 4th October 2010 - Photo #277

This bird house is at work and I noticed the other day, when it was foggy, that it is actually covered in spider's webs. We have only ever birds in the box part once but, unfortunately, they didn't nest. However, it looks like the spiders have decided to move in and on a really damp day their webs look lovely.

Made this picture black and white to show the webs in all their glory.

    I think I read somewhere that birds do not like this type of living, ie nesting where lots of other birds come to feed.

    In human terms I suppose it is like living over the local chippy I suppose. lol

    Don't think the spiders are as fussy as long as lots of flys come by. Like the image by the way.
